A thought-provoking piece, certainly modern education was designed to create cogs for a machine which are interchangeable. However, only with the knowledge of literacy can one discover the great philosophers and thinkers and radicals. It's a shame that we teach how to read but not how to seek. But also there's a lot of dummies out there that just need to be molded into decent cogs for a machine.
