Hopeless thoughts

just me being sad and stuff

Her countenance stirs up a storm in my chest
A simple gaze rattles me down defenseless
Her eyes glow brighter then a night sky filled with stars
I want to hold her close but I feel so far
There is so much I have yet to unfold but so little do I speak
All these bottled up emotions are about to tear right through me
Her smile illuminates but I'm just so gloomy
I have no attractive characteristics that would bring her to me
I am just another boy waiting in line
Just another one waiting to be denied
Now when they ask if I like her
I say "why would I?"
