Breath

As soon as I thought I was lost
He found me
In that dark room where I was holding my breath
For as long as I could remember
I was terrified of the outside world
Out of the cave was a world foreign to me
Kid was there, exploring when he found my mask
He took it from me
And Told me that he'd keep it on tabs for me
Kid showed me how to be whole again
How to converse
That even though there are things to be afraid of
The outside world could be an amazing thing
I never found myself lost again
Unless Kid wasn't there.

Author's Note

My fursona's monologue to my love's fursona kid. She means the world to me, so I thought to write a monologue and draw a picture to go with it.

Yeah my fursona physically has a dinosaur skull mask which represents her demon form, more or less my flaws or things that I have and don't want to fix. In which my girlfriend whose fursona is kid, takes care of the mask.
