Serenity in the Night

Randomness with beauty.

Reaching out, she grabbed for a star

Why are they so far?

Their sparkle and shine rivals that of the moon

Oh how she wished morning wasn't so soon

It was the only scene that gave her peace of mind

And that kind of serenity was very hard to find

With all the little mishaps that went on day after day

The dancing lights always seemed to push those troubles away

It was a feeling she never truly could understand

But in her times of need they seemed to lend out their hand

She seen them as a comfort

And she could never tell you why

They're just so beautiful and majestic

Shining so devotedly as they hung loosely in the sky

I kind of rushed a bit of the end...But I am pleased with how it turned out.
