My Generation

My Generation

A Poem by Sephora VanOrden
"

School can be a drag man.

"

The only thing I need is to be seen by other teens.

When really the sustanence they provide, kills faster than carbon monoxide

Their poisonous minds deter me, harm me, render me speechless.

They lash out in anger, our generation in cinders.

If only someone would find us, revive us, bring us back from the brink.

But all that people think is how terrible we are,

how we should be cut off, locked up, left back from the rest of the world.

And who would be alive at the end of the decade?

Just a generation that no one really needs.

If you want it to change it starts with you. What's now will pass away and it's up to you, me, and others to change what's up ahead. But, then, you probably already knew that. I like thought provoking material and this was such. Excellent work
