BlinkA Poem by SerianaAhhh, Shakespeare hath but put a spell upon me....
Blink Would that I could give but one amongst the stars aloft That I would trade the fading light for the blackest of twilight nights… Alone would I be and lonely would I stay, eternally if but one moment with you might dwell amidst me, anew? What I would surrender For a moment in your loving embrace? The shadowed sky hath not but one star as bright as thee shining upon me For you I would write a million sonnets if I could but have you, just once.... Just once to taste the sweet tonic of thy lips, to feel thy rugged arms about me........ Fifty seasons of tomorrows would I forfeit for one moment with you, my love What concertos could Bach compose which might but dry the tears of mine eyes For one moment wrapped in thy love? Could Van Gogh paint a thousand Starry Nights that together could even come close to the everlasting joy mine heart would feel to shine as a star for one moment with thee? In timeless hours of days long past would I surrender my own memories vast to create but one new memory alas which might in darkness eternal shadows cast upon mine heart a fervent glow and in thine too, a sigh shall so swell of perpetual love in kingdoms dwell of a never-ending moment shared for love to tell
