Because sometimes we find ourselves lost in thoughts...

Musings 

 

caught up ~ 

~ in a moment of disregard for the everyday, 

daydreaming, 

streams of thought  

gone by the wayside of a day, 

this day, 

this moment, 

as time passes on 

while eyes are glazed over in…??? 

 

am thinking of him again… 

the scenarios, 

his moments.....his silence,  

his time with mine 

piling up in mountains of make-believe 

 

muddled puddles meddling through my mind... 

 

it’s so confusing... 

I try coming back,  

to here, 

a space that was mine, 

one that was ours just moments ago, 

before logic strayed from me, 

in hindsight, 

tik-tock thoughts lost on time

They say there's no future living in the past and I believe it. But sometimes in certain matters, memories are all we have left to treasure of certain times and people in our lives. And each person or experience deserves the space we allow it. But that doesn't mean we must dwell on it or build on it. It's just a recognition of its existence, not a denial but an acceptance.

So much can happen in our thoughts. We can be lost in them, in their muddled puddles and the mountains of make believe. It can be so difficult to return to a space that's ours, to a place of sensibility. Such relatable words for me. It was wonderful to read.
