Written for my dear friend, Craig Froman. Craig, you are one who never fails in the face of adversity. Thank you for always being so uplifting, your kindness and brotherly love. I am truly touched and honored to call you friend. :)

 

Scintilla

 

I walked the path of one

Alone

But in sylvan solitude did I not dwell

through the silvery whisper of the daybreak

a golden swelling of light burst through the emerald canopy

flickering speckled rays of sun

upon the delicacy of my flesh

The shimmering essence of the day

flowed across the tactile plains of my mind

blanketing me with a cornucopia of resplendent tranquility

urging onward a never-ending atmosphere of fulfillment

Skyward I gazed…

with eyes tightly kept and heart open wide

surrounded warmly by the cerulean of the celestial sphere

I welcomed the solar solace

and blessings of disguised Divine

and knew within the cavern of endless time

I had been visited by the Guardian of light…..

FYI….The definition of Scintilla which I am using here is – “a sparkling, glittering particle (ie. light, in this case)
