Lights of red

Lights of red

A Poem by Shadow

The place lit up in lights...
Teens dancing to the beat...
Music pounds against the walls...
While she stands against the wall...
One foot pressed against the surface...
Her piercing eyes watching...
She looks like someone no one would approach...

But someone fearless approaches her...
Offering a small smile he offered her a hand...
She stares at the hand her...
perfect platinum blond hair tossed back by her hand...
Her stalkings ripped to her thigh...
Yet he can't take his eyes off of her...

Accepting his hand they danced close...
His hands all over her...
Yet she didn't seem to care...
The lights flickered sideways and up and down...
The beat usually takes you over...
But for this girl...
Nothing really turns her on...

The boy took her home when he finally noticed...
How stunning she looked...
Her clothes had a thing with rips...
Around her shirt...
Skirt...
And stalkings...
But he didn't notice how she had no emotion...

After dropping her off he leaned in to kiss...
She denied him and slammed the door...
That's when he noticed it wasn't done on purpose...
But the rips were forced...
He felt horrible then...
