I'm so...Sorry

I'm so...Sorry

A Poem by Shadow

Finally had enough...
All this screaming...
All this crying...
I'm through...
I've helped you as much as I can...
But you can only save yourself...
I cry for your demise...

Counting the bricks on the wall...
Wonder how many times I've done that...
Been alone for too long...
Some say it would be enough...
Been lying here...
For days...?
Months...?
Years...?
Who knows...

Lying face down in the muddy ground...
Everyone walks around me...
Letting people down...
And not coming around is what has found me...
A failure at most...
A successor at least...
This is what they think of me...

Stroking my head he says everything is alright...
You have me...
And I...
I have I...
I can't depend in the end...
You know...
Thought you were my friend...
But I understand...

Who could look at this girl covered in mud and disgust...
She is nothing but an empty headed fool...
Who had empty headed dreams...
Who's chest hurts everytime she breathes...
Who's nothing to anyones eyes...
Who's health is slowly failing her...
You can lie to her...
She'll believe you...
She's so...
Ignorant...

But yet...
People claim to love this...
Empty headed...
Fool.
I'm sorry to say...
But she loves them back the same...
And they keep taking advantage of this poor...
Innocent...
Ignorant girl...

She says...
"Use me as you will..."
But her skies are turning grey...
With pity...
Sadness...
All that emotion pinned up...
Is finally falling and blowing away...
She has accepted her destiny...

And yet...
In the end...
She's alone...
