Just as you have feared

At the worlds end

Fire burns you away

As you soul refuses to mend

The dark has led you astray

Falling through the cracks

Fading to nothing

You feel the pain

The light slips away

Your going insane

Once again you've been led astray

The title itself would've been sufficient: "The end is near." Truer words were never spoken. The end is always near, of something or the other, whether we know it or not. Great write.

Thank you so much, my poems haven't been rhyming lately, for quite awhile i kept it simple just to convey an emotion or tell a story. But i am very happy you liked it :)

Rhymes aren't the most important thing in my mind, but the feelings. I rarely write rhiming poems, since eng isn't my native language it's really hard for me too :D But I like freestyle poems the best!
