WINDOWS

WINDOWS

A Poem by TerryDarcy-Ryan akaSheerTerror

Alone

again and ever

a new quest

to hear all echo’s

the small sounds

returned profound

as simple

as free

A message

on a kite string

An empty window

A heart

Can still reach

Inspired by

Deceptive glass

Kaleidoscope

For my view

That is where

I saw it

Hope

those windows can represent so much. clarity, confusion, reflections, shadows of the past, looking back, looking forward, looking for answers but ultimately windows of the soul. can also be fractured, deceptive or best of all hopeful. when we are lost we will look through any window, searching even for a lost love or a lost part of ourselves. great metaphor, imagery and your usual brilliant wording. i like what you did with this. great pics add.

I liked the way you made the thoughts of things in view come alive and her journey understandable and okay for the reader. I liked the short statements.
"A heart
Can still reach
Inspired by
Deceptive glass'
I did like the above lines. Left something for reader to grasp and understand. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
