Sappy

At the risk of sounding clichéd,

I feel I must take this chance to say,

Though I never planned it this way,

I wouldn't change not a single day.

 

From the  moment you entered my life,

I've found I have the strength to thrive,

Not just to merely survive,

But to truly and really feel alive!

 

Since I've felt this way, it's been to long,

To much time has passed since I've belonged,

Too many day's without joyfull song,

Too many tunes that were oh so wrong.

 

So at the risk of sounding clichéd,

I take this chance now to say,

A special thanks on this special day,

When your kiss made me feel this way.
