Skeleton Home

A Poem by BlueEyes
"

A rare instance where I try to rhyme...

"

How did you get so old?
Lost and forsaken home
Creak and groan
Your skeleton bones
Dressed in rags
As the eyes sag and your limbs drag
Along the marble floor
Bleached white
The Skeleton Home

This poem hits home with me. Reminds me of my dog, who is 14 years of age, and a sac of bones and walrus hide.
