The red skies' passage

The red skies' passage

A Poem by Sherbs Dreaming Tree Of Poetry

These once blood red tinted skies

Are now, stained

Now, there is no blue

Only red

A red so rich

Tis of pure crimson

It warns of bloodshed

Of pain

Relinquishing pain...

How can our world bear such evil?

Where is nature?

Nature is dying

Gaias forests burn

Burn like

Dry sticks

Shrivelled shrubs

Crippled carnations

All a creation

Of the red sky

And it's

Passage to Evil

I really like the images in your poetry. Your word choice is also really great, it adds to the flow. I really like this poem, good job.

your style doesn't quite blend enough to use words like 'tis'. this feels like you were just short of reaching something wonderful. you don't say enough for the importance of what you're trying to say. if that makes any sense. your including of the reference to Gaia made me smile, as i'm a mythology buff.
