sparkling indigo mines

sparkling indigo mines

A Poem by Shirlena
"

feeling safe

"

indigo mines

Into the sapphire
hanging up
home sweet home signs
...
getting to where it is official
saying mine all mine
below the radar I get it together
warmly surrounded
don’t get no better than this
a plane where there no
requirement rhyme
but there is no help for me
it’s happening anyhow
in the roots
and among linings
intertwined you will find
natural timing

this is what I mean

aglow by this indigo
that doesn’t mean threatening
are menacing
there is something comforting
about this coating and cloaking
silky and thin
I shimmy
gently shrugging and pulling
until admission in
a sense of welcome
I feel invited
coming and going as I please
where things are always changing
and evolving
it starts here
signature mark long after
it leaves
ebony sparkles
I cleave and thrive

this is what I mean

This has a sense of drifting...with all the words ending in "ing" --- but what I do hear each time is a voice...and that comes out in your work...I do see a change in order:

a plane where there no
requirement rhyme
but there is no help for me

a plane where there is no

---
a minor there --- but caught my eye...I'd liked to see these verses read aloud...here...gives much but the depth would be concrete --- hit you from all angles...
