Of an empty precious cage

Of an empty precious cage

A Poem by Shoeb Karim

This poem was written and first published as a review of ''A Childhood Lost'' in writers cafe. "A childhood Lost" is written by Amplyyours.

"

Those dreams, those colors, those faces,

All lost, all wracked in this ''Life'' named maze.

I couldn't trap those days,

In my ''precious'' golden cage.

I enjoy the simplicity you have invoked here. Sometimes the most complex and beautiful sentiments are best captured with the plainest use of imagery. This piece would be a testament to that.

Thanks for posting and viva la
