A poem made when I was feeling alone and abandoned. Self pity.

You are the dream that fades

You may try to remember it, but it is all in vain

Pain is all that you feel

Loneliness will devour you

You are the story that was never told

A happiness that lived for only a second in your heart

Once love leaves you

You have nothing that you can return to

You have no home...Remember that...

Wow such a captivating piece I wish it was so much longer but that may have softened the impact I really liked this poem well done
