You and Me

You and Me

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

I know not where you've been

nor where you are taking me

Yet your words hold strong

like the truest of songs

they guide me wholely forth

into an enchanted land

set before me like a feast-

I can only hope that these travels

together will never cease

as you have shown me love,

comfort, endearment, and spice

there is a glimmer to your eyes

that shines forth like Orion

on high in the deep blue sky above-

a knowingness, a giving

that I have never felt

until I met you

fell down upon my knees

to thank the heavens

for sending you to me.

wow Sid, judging by the vivid imagery and the depth of emotion in this poem, this must be a really special kind of a person that you are describing.

I wonder what he is like in real life?

I'm happy for your happiness Sid.
