What’s does it matter

What’s does it matter

A Poem by Simba

Where do you come from I hear you ask?

If I told you the answer
would you turn away from me, or invite me home for tea

What does it matter black or white it’s not only me that can start a food fight

What does it matter green or blue we can all use the very same loo

What’s does it matter yellow or green we both have two eyes that can be seen

What does it matter silver or gold I have two hands the same as you to hold

We all really fit in the very same mould

We all fit into the same mound in many areas but not everyone’s thinking and reasoning is the same..,love and acceptance should be a common denominator but some journeys are longer than others- very true your words are I should think it will stir many thoughts🌹

Nice work! I like how you begin this poem with a question. It's the foundation for the remaining lines, all valid, important questions and points. You've done a nice job focusing on commonalities and dismissing insignificant differences among us. A pleasant, light-hearted tone on an important subject.

and who can argue with that ..especially among the arts and the Cafe?! i like the scattered rhymes ..and i like the simple language ..it makes for a fun read on something quite serious and relevant ..its a good heart check says i! :)
