Aspens Song

Aspens Song

A Poem by Jeannie Stevens
"

Inspired,by the aspen trees on a recent visit to the Colorado Rockies.

"
If autumns serenade were to last very long
It would tell of the aspens golden song
Rustling leaves in the light of the morning sun
Sing their tunes ever soft till the day is done

Choirs of white timber serenade once more
Bowing and bending for seasons encore
Hues of blue sky against amber applause
Leay arms lifted to dance autumns waltz

Mountaintop symphonies resonate through the hills
Delighting creation with heavenly trills
The songs of the aspen sung just for me
Notes playing on the wind; natures harmony
