The Blues

Let the rhyme flow, from my soul, even if nobody gives a bull.

It’s a beautiful day

Got nothing to do

Got nothing to say, today

Wasting my life away

Trying not to be blue

And if you heard I’m on my own, well it’s true

So I thought I’d write poem for me, and for you

I didn’t put in much effort, so if you don’t like it anyway, that’s ok

Life is the colour of the sky on a cloudy day, just grey

Waiting here until I fade away, be it as it may

That would be ok, because hey

We all gotta die someday, someway

And we’re all meaningless anyway

So the friends I used to have have moved on

So what? We we’re going down the same street for a while

Then things got a little foggy and they’re all gone.

I can’t find them anymore, and walking alone just feels wrong

I want to unwind, but I feel so resigned, was I really just unkind, is it bad for me to want to be noticed

My life is being timed, and I don’t have enough mind to find true happiness

I want to finish this poem, these lines, but it just keeps flowing out

I have to get it out somehow, but wow, I don’t think anyone will care anyhow so whatever

I have to keep trying, keep lying to myself, until I’m dying, somebody help.

Keep it together

The weight on my shoulders is only my depression. I think I’m going to rest for a while and catch my breath.
