Hanging Trees' Lullaby/Blindly Faithless

Hanging Trees' Lullaby/Blindly Faithless

A Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)
"

I felt these poems went together, so I put them side by side, like fallen lovers.

"

Blindly Faithless

I was born blind; like everyone else

Incognito as the words dripped soundlessly from my eyes

I cried silence

I heard nothing but the wind

And felt only the chill down my spine

Like a roadkill of the divine

Crawling over the surface

I could only ever scratch

Not yet waterlogged by fear

Hanging Trees’ Lullaby

On strands of hate

Reaching for angel feathers

At the end of my rope

Hanging by a thread

I finally learned to fly

Like a puppet on string

I promise I read every single review, and I generally will reply to them. I look forward to my next review, because it helps me learn. Even if it's just one word, I promise, I will be happy to hear anything you feel needs sharing. Whenever you write on my shortcomings or breakthroughs, or the themes of my poems, or share ideas and friendly criticism, it decides my next poem to an extent. I will listen, learn and be thankful. And 99% of the time, you'll get a reply unless you're trolling me.

Umm... that 1st picture coincidentally symbolizes Indian flag. If you got that on Pinterest I know the artist. So I'm certain it's actually that. I love the poem with that. It sounds so pretty.😊 And for the last one as per my expectations I found your regular style.

Yes, it's quite beautiful. I hope you're not too mad at me.
