Will-O-Wisp

Will-O-Wisp

A Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)

Death, decay, rebirth, life.

Will-O-Wisp

Sacrificial daffodils like gyrating constellations

Dance phantasmagorical metamorphosis

In the chrysalis of photosynthesis

Like chthonian pandemonium roaming jovial memorials

Of warpath masquerades of cardiovascular cataclysms

In visages of crucifixion ellipsis antithesis of shapeshifter omnipotence

Rippling promiscuous infinitesimal hecatomb

In the metallic battlefield of sporadical stratosphere’s

Megalomaniac in the radio static’s vibrato abracadabra

Intransigently reanimated stanza cadaver contaminated observations

Of doppelgänger psychotropic apocryphal philosophical biomechanics

Refractory sabbatical theocratic Avalon intangibles psalms

Keep rambling on the anvil of dawn forge gallows of pawns

The animal-drawn hypocritical calm

Bioluminescence incandescent extraterrestrial effigies

Vasectomy ecliptic terraforming phantasmagorical kaleidoscope

Corroded primordials orchestrating metaphorical mayhem

Scintillating obliterated deescalating resuscitated exhilaration

Debilitating umbilical assimilation a pentagram’s parthenogenesis

Called Bethlehem infentesimo clad in cadaverous hands

Indefinite cyphers enlightenment’s iris leviathans in brightest abyss

Darkness is lit indecipherable lisp, a will-o-wisp kiss

A silhouette’s bliss, as the silvereye burns,

Body transmogrified left for the worms

Scavenging camouflaged words, alight just a blur

Blighting the scourge, writing my words, white in the earth

Nightingale pale halos maelstrom decapitated alabastrine faces

Apparition emasculated in fairytales entrails

Paranoias many voices, metempsychosis incorporeal woven

Porcelain corpses orphans locusts, from every orifice push forth the forfend

Electroconvulsive decomposition haunting offering of debauchery

Mockingbird of octaves rocking-chair a spectre of electrolytes

Redefines uprising spineless suicidal bridal shower hourglass

Half-full but left empty shattered on the road, blemishing cemeteries

I promise I read every single review, and I generally will reply to them. I look forward to my next review, because it helps me learn. Even if it's just one word, I promise, I will be happy to hear anything you feel needs sharing. Whenever you write on my shortcomings or breakthroughs, or the themes of my poems, or share ideas and friendly criticism, it decides my next poem to an extent. I will listen, learn and be thankful. And 99% of the time, you'll get a reply unless you're trolling me.
