All-Fathers and Earth-Mothers

All-Fathers and Earth-Mothers

A Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)

Gone out to sea the Valkyrie’s wings

Feather’s weathered by the wind

Their song forever fondly sings

Opens corners of the fringe

Born so formless chorus rings

Metamorphosis incorporeal hymns

The dragons swim adrift in the breezes of Elysium

Valhalla’s palace malachite, feeding skylines’ appetite

To swallow every open heart

Apollo glares upon his hearth

Practicing Vatican’s of Sultan’s art

Vicarious the seraphim

Married to the weary crimson

Of another green ellipsis

Rippling under the sky

The honey ripe

A night divine

To the sight of weary eyes

Which sing so softly

"Sleep this night"

Under an endless sheet of white

The blackness crafter of new life

I promise I read every single review, and I generally will reply to them. I look forward to my next review, because it helps me learn. Even if it's just one word, I promise, I will be happy to hear anything you feel needs sharing. Whenever you write on my shortcomings or breakthroughs, or the themes of my poems, or share ideas and friendly criticism, it decides my next poem to an extent. I will listen, learn and be thankful. And 99% of the time, you'll get a reply unless you're trolling me.
