~Plastic Surgeon~

So I had a hard time writing this because I wrote it based on the inspiration of the Lovely Bones

I'm no plastic surgeon I can't fix myself 

I'm sorry i wasn't what you wanted

 the imperfect little girls hand you wanted to hold 

I still haven't forgotten your the only person I truly loved 

the one who actually gave you my whole heart 

but as I lay in your bed the bed you haven't laid on the past couple of months I think to myself have I done the right thing? 

By letting you go 

I try to put it through my head that your gone but I just can't seem to get it through my head 

i'm sorry for letting you go 

i'm sorry for not being there to hold you hand in your last moments of pain 

i'm sorry for loving you so much that its so hard 

to let you go...

Cute yet sad... nice feelings in this wrote, love the idea and creativity of the plastic surgeon... really nice write, i like this.

Almost like a bit from a graphic novel. I enjoy the idea of you being your own plastic surgeon. It's scary and grotesque conveying a ton of emotion and imagery with tight vocabulary. It may be nice to see that one image expanded to a single poem. Let the horror of it tell a tale of trying to please a lover yet scaring them away. All the while it leaves you guilty, disfigured and wondering why they left.
