The Things I See

The Things I See

A Poem by Brian

The Things I See

The things I see is so harsh, so brutal

That I do not know how man can handle it

The things I see is so horrible that I can not bear to watch it.

I see the destruction of man by man itself, that is what I see.

I have seen wars fought over the ambitions of politicians.

Oh the things I see, I wonder what our ancestors would say about it.

I see nations fighting over simple things that could be solve so simply.

I see hatred of races, I see destruction of races, that is what I see.

As a young man, I wonder, what are the things my forefathers have seen.

Can it be compared to the brutal acts of man that I see today.

Most people would call me crazy, insane or out of touch. But what I see

Is something that my critics can not see.

Good job. You should make it more poetic than it would be a great work. Good job in explaining what you thought so clearly.

That's good. I like the last line "But what I see is something that my critics can not see". No one can ever truly see from our eyes. They can only empathize. (ha, that rhymed) Good work.
