Being Me

I am being me, no one can copy me.

I am different from everyone else, even those in my family.

I do things differently, and I think differently,

But i'm being me.

I'm being me by being the proud moderate liberal that I am,

Not ashamed to speak my mind on those who attack me,

Because that's who i am.

I'm being me by being a unbiased person, listening to every side possible,

People and my family may disagree, but i'm being me.

I can only be the person who I have came to be.

Yes I am a Christian, and proud of it, not because I was raised that way,

But because that's what I chose to be, because i'm being me.

Yes I like almost every type of music, 

Yes i like the blues, jazz, classical, rock, rap, and other types,

Because I'm being me.

I do not want to be someone i'm not, because that's not who i am.

Unlike other people in this world, i try to lead, not follow. 

I would rather lead a people, than to lead them into nothing.

Because i'm just being me, and if you don't like it,

Then I feel sorry for you, because you're not who you really are.
