"Flowers and Love"

"Flowers and Love"

A Poem by Douglas Bujak

she says, "look at this flower"

and throws it into the wind to fly free

she runs after it as her skirt flys playfully

dancing through the field of beautiful flowers

watching she is so free

she comes to me

looks me in my deep dark green eyes

and with out a word kisses me

I loved that kiss

she knows how i feel

She knows

how i love for a girl to come into my space

like if i have a plate of food

she would just take a piece of chicken off my plate

with out even asking

I love her for this

She holds me close

running her fingers through my hair

she whispers a song into my ear

"I'm thinking it's a sign that the freckles in our eyes are mirror images and when we kissed their so perfectly inline"

she kisses me so soft and sweet

we would just lay and talk

I miss how i would hold her in my arms

how i would softly touch her cheek as i looked into those brown eyes

then lovingly i would kiss her on the forehead

and let her love go free

just like her flower

beautiful, Free

And Loved
