A life without you

A life without you

A Poem by Sir Godric

As I sit here today,

as I'm writing away,

as I kneel down to pray,

I cant imagine a life without you.

A life without you would be a hell I say,

I couldn't imagine one without you,

you are my night and my day,

My life would be a hell without you.

As I kneel down to pray,

and I count my blessings,

I count you, and I count you twice,

and then I ask god what would life be without you.

A life without you would be hell I say,

I couldn't imagine one without you,

My heart would turn to clay,

my life would be nothing without you.

As I fall asleep tonight,

your my last thought on my mind,

before I hit the hay,

I think of you and say.

A life without you would be hell I say,

I couldn't imagine one without you,

I think of you all day,

My life would be meaningless without you.

As I wake up this day,

your the first thing on my mind,

and as the days fly by,

I wanna be with you all the time.

A life without you would be hell I say,

I couldn't imagine it any other way,

you are the stars to my sky,

I want to be with you until the end of time.

A life without you.....

This is very straightforward, but also quite effective in relaying your message. I sense that this was written for a lost love; perhaps a desired affection not yet realized? Regardless, it flows well and almost seems lyrical. I recommend, from a critical perspective, that you try to expand your vocabulary a tad bit. Emotions can be conveyed in various ways, and synonyms perform this effectively in any writing. I mean this in the most respectful manner, of course. I enjoyed the piece. :)
