Strive

Strive

A Poem by Sarah Morgan

I gave it my all

I guess my all wasn't enough, no

You watched me fall

Pushed me down, Made me crawl

I could not breathe, I could not speak

I want to thank you for making my life a living hell

Yeah I want to thank you for giving me the strength to move on

Sometimes

I wanna cry

I wanna fight

Fight you back for all those years I put myself into

I want to forget you

I want to lose myself in someone else

Fall in love again and forget that I ever died

Died inside

Sometimes

I want to cry

This is good. I like the emotion behind it. The structure was good. The poem flowed well. Great work!

The emotion that comes from this poem hit me like a brick, I like it, every verse. I wouldn't change a single thing to be honest with you.

It seems love has been rather not nice to you. Still this is another great poem by you. I enjoy how you are able to express painful emotions.

This was a very sad and heartfelt piece. I believe that hope never dies...
