Life is...

broken hearts,

unkept promises,

dreams that don't come true,

wishes that fade,

a journey that leads you to a road block,

A series of disappointments...

broken only...

by Dark spells of Depression.

shouldn't it be somewhere along the lines of this:
life is
mending hearts
promises made
dreams that lead

a series of utter atonement
hearts mending
out of dark spells.

it's not the people in your life necessarily, it's how you're treated by them. you never want to permanently exclude someone in your life, no matter how much you might not like them.

Life can feel like a dead-end road. Good to go slow and easy. We will learn many lessons in a life. A wise person tried not to repeat mistakes. Better to had danced than wished we did. The poem led the reader to dark places and thoughts. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Some days the whole world of ALL existence seems so broken and fragmented that NOTHING could survive... and then I see someone else hurting and and just want to help - to reach out and try to take the pain away ...if only for a breath so they can catch theirs.

Life isn't fair...but the alternative is unacceptable, especially when it's WE whom are left behind and missing so hard.

Not quite pertinent I guess, but tangents are what writes take readers and listeners to... lots of thoughts...

i could easily relate with all your thoughts here...life at times becomes so rough, that we feel this same way...but then i think, its simply one phase of the coin:)
we can make it a good one, by fighting with this roughness, rather letting them govern us:)
