A Witches Way

A Witches Way

A Poem by Skadia Trazon
"

I decided to bring a little of my faith to live upon paper today while waiting for a school program. I am no poet, do not judge me as one please.

"

Midnight comes

Wolves howl

Darkness creeps across the land

Full moons rise

Chants carry across the wind

That is a witches will

So mote it be.

Fires light

Fabric Dances

Energies flow over hills

Moonlight wains

Stars shimmer

That is a witches will

So mote it be.

The sun shows it's face

Warmth coats the land

Moon says goodnight

Stars twinkle out

Music dies

As the world takes it's first morning breath

That is a witches will

So mote it be.

I like how this poem has a tone of mystery and magic. I enjoy fantasy and scary stories, so this is something that I actually enjoyed. It is descriptive and paints a fantastical picture! I can definitely imagine a magic forest and different sorts of creatures from witches to dragons lingering nearby. You're poem is great!
