Infatuation.

 

That's what it is, isn't it?
Your words baffle me.
Your sincerity turns my mind
in an unearthly mix
of wonder, doubt and desire.

 

It's strange.
I like you more each time I see you.
My thoughts sift through
causes, possibilities, ethics, morality and whys.
You claim to me what you want
while I fear to acknowledge what I...really want.

 

Self evaluation has never been so cold.

 

I've never feared any answer as this.

I'm actually pretty disgusted with this piece. I couldn't confront the situation properly. I was being a coward; hence, the title. The outcome is in the last line. I had come to a decision but didn't have it in me to actually pen the words.

Hm, I like this one, despite the fact that you do not like it.
It is very real, and though you may not be able to speak, or write in this case, the words that you feel you need to get out, it still holds truth. Push, and push some more, and it will come when it is ready.

Its weird, this poem reminds me of one of mine..:) hopefully the phrase "Great minds think alike" is applicable here. Nice emotionally driven piece once again, keep drawing from your endless lifelong resources and im sure these wont be your last bits of brilliance. Great write.

Umm... why do all your works have a note that says: I was in denial, I was depressed, this piece disgusts me etc etc. You know your works are pretty good. At least you have some sort of depth to be able to write such meaningful poetry. Some unfortunate souls like moi, cant write them for a cent.
I think you should be proud of what you write.
Anyway, i think this piece was very insightful if you look at it in one way.
"Self evaluation has never been so cold"
This line is very VERY true. Not many people face that fact that when it comes to judging one self, we either tend to do it in cold blood or pass it over.
