A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

I'll come back for you
Once the chains of my
Rebellious exuberance
Have rusted off
In the acidic brine
Of my tears

Until then
Stoke the fire next
To my writing chair
Maybe those firefly sparks
Can become a large enough bonfire
To lead me home.

You're more than welcome..
This is beautifully epic. Your descriptions are spot on, I specifically love the term " In the acidic brine Of my tears". Sometimes we hold ourselves back without realising it, shutting off opportunities that could have arisen otherwise. Maybe the past isn't what it seems, who knows really. I thoroughly enjoyed this :)

Thank you very much - it is a liberating feeling when there is "no holding back" anymore.....:)
