Vampire

Vampire

A Poem by A.R. Rose

A cursed mark they lay upon you,
Their sadistic smile sends you wandering into a trance,
Snow white skin, and a perfect face,
Luminous teeth,
A moonlight silhouette curves around either a feminine or masculine figure,
Erotically loving a being only for their blood,
Now but not always bearing their curse,
Once free to choose their path,
Now roaming the darkness carrying their guilt.

Nice description of the life of a vampire. I like the honest tone of the poetry. When need of blood killed off all need for human affection. Thank you dear friend for sharing the amazing poetry.
