![]() Morning RoutineA Poem by Andromeda![]() idk?![]() When she puts on her tears in the morning— After brushing her teeth— She always looks in the mirror To make sure she has them Balanced Just Right With the bubblegum pink Shiny gloss on her lips And the bashful blush of Her cheeks and Black mascara That The tears are meant to wash away. When she tries on her voice in the morning— Right after her water and cracker breakfast— She always squints to Make sure she has her Plea Tuned Just Right With the gaudy jewels around her Vampire-enticing neck And the daring stretch of White stomach and The low blouse, Low smile And shamefully-short Skirt That The voice was meant to flatter. Once her tears are balanced And her voice is tuned And she is What they call Just right-- She gives a nod to the mirror (Who knows her Secrets) And walks out the door With the click-click-click Of Important shoes.
