ummm...hahah. random goofy, somewhat sadistic poem???

The worst date of my life is now buried

In my backyard

By the rosebush

My husband gave me

On Valentines’ last year.

The worst date of my life was

A boy named Cody Levi—

I should have known not to trust

A boy with two first names.

He asked me out in gym class,

When I was too flustered and

Out of breath from running the mile

To say no.

He took me to a

Dollar movie

In a

Junky theater with

A popcorn-and-spit floor.

We saw some

Crappy show

About

Aliens invading the Capital.

He must have thought it was

            Romantic,

Because,

Halfway through,

His arm started slithering around my shoulder,

And he leaned his face to mine.

And his breath smelled like dog food.

He drove me home

And walked me to the door

And,

With a sneaky grin,

Invited himself in.

I shot him in the head with a 45,

And that was the end

Of the worst date of my life.

I like how, even though I read the first stanza, I still didn't see the end coming. It's funny, in a weird, twisted way.
