Through these stained eyes, dark is all I see yet I try to live, believing this is me. But all I could do is place my heart on a page, and watch it rot away with every age.
What this write certainly does not lack, are heart and feeling. I believe sadness and pain make great muses, and writing is an excellent cure. By pouring out our feelings in ink on paper, we heal. I like this write, it shows so much emotion, and where there are feelings, even the sadness caused by loss, there is a heart to give them a home.
Brilliant poem!
Really really nice, I love this and really enjoyed it. So much nice emotion in this and such great descriptions and words used, rhyming is so spot on as well and fits so good.
I really like these parts:
"But all I could do is place my heart on a page,
and watch it rot away with every age."
"All I am through your eyes is a ghost,
whom you don't dare miss the most.
All you are through my eyes, is hopelessness;
but my words I write are my distress."
"I live to be your puppet, nothing more
but I am a writer of many lore."
"And as I dare write with missing heart,
it is you whom my stories start."
"And as I dare write with missing heart,
it is you whom my stories start."
Sometime we write best when we know pain and misery. I have 30 books of poems written in the darkness of loss and disappointment. They are my best poetry I believe. I like the places you took me and the honest ending. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.
