But a Fragment
By: Adam M. Snow

What is this picture, but a fragment
of life's shattered dream?
Being the lost that I am,
seeking a lifeless gleam.

T'was a night among nights,
arose the thoughts of me;
a vision appeared before my being,
drowning out the sea.

Wow. I am never quite sure of the meaning in most poems, but that's what makes it more magical and epic. It's personal yet full of connected wisdom. Your writing style is flawless and this is such a clear image in my mind. Soothing, searching, wandering...I'd give it a standing ovation. Well written, friend.

It is absolutely beautiful poem dear poet with lost me in its beauty.
I like the lines:
What is this picture, but a fragment
of life's shattered dream?
It shows a lot of poetic maturity.
