As Soulless as My Heart

As Soulless as My Heart

A Poem by Adam M. Snow
"

Twinkle are the stars above me, But they fade at my sight. I've walked this road of death before, But the feelings even heavier upon me.

"
As Soulless as My Heart
By: Adam M. Snow

Twinkle are the stars above me,
But they fade at my sight.
I've walked this road of death before,
But the feelings even heavier upon me.
I fornicate my sins betrothed,
I've tarnished my convalescence;
I be without seeing, as I cursed my essence,
As I curse my heart to death.

I didn't catch the meaning but I like the way it sounds. Good work.

Strong words leading the reader to a sad place. When life seem endless and no purpose. Easy to fall to sadness.
"I fornicate my sins betrothed,
I've tarnished my convalescence;"
I like the ending to the outstanding poetry.
