Why try anymore?

Another phrase just repeated.

Why sing a song,

Something just plainly read.

 

Why wake up another day,

To do something someone else has already done.

Why try to make music,

When someone has already performed it.

 

Why share another poem,

When there are better ones out there.

Why start a sentence,

When someone else will finish it.

 

Why not take another sip,

Others are doing it.

Why not risk your life,

When there are so many others living it…

 

Simple.

Because it would be a waste,

To destroy a temple that holds unlimited possibilities,

Unparalleled potential.

 

Live on,

And just see where life takes you.
