A Shallow Puddle

A Shallow Puddle

A Poem by Soma-ko
"

A small mirror that is deeper than a abyss.

"

A shallow puddle,

 Not too long nor wide,

Stood between two lovers,

Its head held so high.

It reflected their sadness,

And the rainbow above.

Something so meaningless,

And yet, something that defined their love.

The puddle watched them,

The couple that it separated up above.

Watch their tears fall to the floor,

And the smiles that hid their love.
