The Little Dove

The Little Dove

A Poem by Soma-ko
"

A little write, to excuse my absence.

"

A blanket of love,

Shrouds his hate.

His feelings unknown,

So she can only wait.

She lies by his side,

Ignorance is bliss.

Knowing this she sleeps,

After giving him a kiss.

She snuggles in his blanket,

Something so warm.

Aware of his soul,

Next to her, it’s so cold.

She loves him yet,

The boy with no love.

For it was he who saved her,

The lonely little dove.
