Untitled 4

A Poem by DarkPoet

Once,twice

Saw the sadness in your eyes

Tried thrice

You got so good at saying goodbye

A great fall on the fourth floor

Wasn't paying attention

Till pain revealed in an instant, my position

As I strive to survive at five

A Fleeting pleasure on my door

A quick fix at six

I'm done i want no more

Please stay till seven

Maybe we'll catch a glimpse of heaven

Its eight and getting late

A whole life bare on your plate

At nine we share in common

Red wine, sob stories,hope pills

Yet you judge me an asinine companion

The clock on the wall struck at 10

We could no longer pretend

As quickly as it began it came to an end

Human ,acquaintance, anything but friends
