UNTITLED 10

UNTITLED 10

A Poem by DarkPoet

On a bed confined i lay
Maybe i might drop off today
Its been a very dark phase
Sparks of light in open spaces

And sorrowful moments
As mi madre's graveside tune
Series of unspeakable torment
Under the gaze of the full moon

They said life is for the tough
Sometimes might isn't enough
Striving to do right at all cost
Bearing alone this heavy cross

Cos i waited for you in troubled waters
I waded till it sunk me under
Your silence wears the colour gold
As my soul steadily grows cold

When you have reached your target
And i have probably kicked the bucket
Maybe my scribbled jargon give meaning
Of what it was like to be me living
