Cruelty

Cruelty

A Poem by Dean Smith
"

again recently re-discovered, as far as I can remember this was written some time last year.

"

Cruelty is silence as loud as a flame,
A pain as insane as a game in the brain,
A short shout of breath left alone in the shade,
A hint at the death welcomed home to be laid,
A deep lasting 'last time you give it a try',
A weep casting past times to live with goodbyes,
A fear so much greater than a story first told,
A year when the haters become oh so bold
Cruelty is silence as loud as a flame,
Be cruel to the fool made to read this again...
