I Will Believe You

I Will Believe You

A Poem by Sourav

If you come to me in the darkest hour of night

And say, ‘I will heal all your pain

Erase all your discomfort,

Make you free…’

I will believe you.

But I know this is a lie

I know you would be lying;

Like my tears,

Your words will also dry

And die with the dawn,

Only to reborn in the womb of night.

But I will believe you.

sometimes we have to believe just to get us through the night ,and yet really we know in the cold light of day it isn't true..

This sounds so sad. It evokes a lot of emotion and I don't know if I like the fact that I can relate to this so well. It's a beautiful, yet short piece and tells a lot about a person. This is really well done, I enjoy reading this a lot.
