Tomorrow

Tomorrow

A Poem by Spottedleaf
"

Started out with "Tomorrow is Tomorrow" and ended up writing something I really enjoyed.

"

Tomorrow is tomorrow,

We wait for tomorrow.

To solve our problems,

To rid us of sorrows.

Look for tomorrow,

In the shimmering light.

For it is tomorrow,

When all will be right.

Remember tomorrow,

When you’ve experienced fright.

For when it becomes tomorrow,

I’m another day closer.

When finally it’s tomorrow,

I’ll ease your pain, your blood, your tears.

Tomorrow when those are gone,

Vanished just like dust.

I promise you tomorrow,

The day is yours.

To do what you want,

To have what you wish.

When tomorrow is yours,

You rule the world.

Both yours and mine,

Because tomorrow,

Those are the only two that matter.

Tomorrow when it’s just us,

All alone in the world.

Tomorrow we are free,

To do just what we please.

I can hold you all day,

Or spoil you rotten.

Tomorrow when you’re a queen,

You’ll think about everything.

Tomorrow I know what you’ll do,

Repay me by trying the same thing.

But for every tomorrow,

You are a queen once again,

Always to be treated as such.
