Chronic Desire

Obsession is really bad
I think am bad,
Am I wrong for getting attached?

Jealousy is sick,
I’m I sick?
Infatuated is what I am

Searching, waiting, yearning
I can almost taste it
The sour taste of disappointment
the smell of despair knocking on my door
don’t answer it

Misery comes in threes
and I am on number two
It keeps knocking
temptation is great
searching, waiting, yearning

I answer
only to find nothing there
I was wrong
I knew it

The smell arrives only stronger
Almost a wall of thick guilt
I was wrong

The temptation got the best of me
I give up
Only for the chance of one day being free.

Despair, sadness and darkness..
That's what I found in each and every line!

"I answer
only to find nothing there
I was wrong
I knew it"- Great lines!

While reading this I found as if a person is crying and shouting for his condition and even blaming himself for his pathetic condition!
Very soul penetrating write!
